Job summary

ExxonMobil in Beaumont, Texas is seeking an Analyzer Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on instrument control systems and online analyzers in a safe, efficient manner. You will operate test equipment, follow training, and communicate with unit personnel to ensure reliability of measurement systems.

The role requires the ability to work in shops and field settings, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot a complex instrument/analyzer control system by breaking it down into smaller sections.
• Ability to install and maintain instruments, analyzers, control valves, conduit, wiring, tubing, and piping.
• Knowledge of instrument/analyzer systems including planning additions or modifications on loops and circuits.

Responsibilities

• Perform all job-related duties as assigned.
• Operate and maintain instrumentation equipment in shops and field settings.
• Troubleshoot complex systems by breaking them into sub-systems to isolate issues and repair analyzers.
• Use test instruments to verify analyzer accuracy and performance.
• Interpret drawings such as P&ID and loop diagrams.
• Maintain records of all maintenance activities and preventative maintenance.
