Synchrony Systems Inc. is seeking a hands-on Reporting & Analytics Specialist to design, build, and automate reporting solutions. You will connect data from multiple sources, normalize and transform it with scripts, and deliver polished dashboards for technical and executive stakeholders.

The role requires strong SQL, experience with Tableau/Power BI, and data visualization best practices, with a focus on data accuracy and scalable reporting solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills including joins, aggregations and window functions.
• Hands-on dashboards in Tableau and Power BI.
• Data aggregation and connecting multiple data sources.
• Script-based data normalization and transformation (Python).
• Data visualization best practices and dashboard design.
• Translate business questions into reporting requirements.
• Attention to data accuracy and quality.
• CMDB knowledge with ServiceNow CMDB, CI classes and assets.
• Experience with Databricks or similar reporting automation.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts and enterprise IT.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau and Power BI reports.
• Write and optimize complex SQL for data extraction and metrics.
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, files and platforms.
• Build scripted data normalization pipelines (Python).
• Aggregate data across domains to produce reliable KPIs.
• Apply visualization best practices for clear storytelling.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements.
• Automate recurring reports to improve speed and scale.
• Validate data quality and document lineage and logic.
