Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Analytics Specialist Solution Engineer (Tableau) to support the Consumer Business Services vertical. You will lead analytics-driven demonstrations, align Salesforce/Tableau solutions to complex customer needs, and collaborate with sales and product teams to deliver measurable business value.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of SE/analytics experience, hands-on Tableau (and/or Power BI) expertise, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Data Science, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Approximately 3-5 years of relevant SE, consulting, or analytics/BI experience.
• Hands-on experience across multiple Tableau products (or equivalent BI platform e.g., Power BI).
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills; ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer engagements and team events.

Responsibilities

• Align innovative solutions to technology challenges within CBS accounts; drive consensus on multi-product solutions with focus on Analytics portfolio.
• Handle business development, operations strategy, and product demonstrations as a trusted advisor.
• Define ambiguous business problems through research and assessment; drive innovative ideas and practical next steps.
• Evaluate solutions and drive stakeholder consensus; help build decision frameworks that deliver ongoing value.
• Demonstrate connected, data-driven experiences through demos and rapid prototyping; energize customer presentations.
• Build customized solutions and demonstrations for multiple personas; show how platforms accelerate value.
• Advise on customer data and analytics architecture related to Salesforce/Tableau, including modern data warehouses.
• Participate in product/sales/training to maintain knowledge for the role.
