Mindlance is seeking an Analytics & Reporting Consultant to build reports and insights across business units. The role combines Excel/Access skills with Power BI, SharePoint, and AI-assisted automation to transform large data into usable dashboards and insights.

The fixed term/temporary position requires strong communication with non-technical audiences and collaboration with cross-functional teams to address divisional needs. Hybrid work is involved in Albuquerque, NM.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Title: Analytics & Reporting Consultant (Bflex time entry, Temp)

Location: Albuquerque, NM 87113 (Hybrid/Onsite)

Shift: First shift

Start Date: ASAP

Job Purpose:

This role is for someone who can use both simpler reporting and analysis tools, like Excel and Access and work in SharePoint, plus some stronger ones like PowerBI, bot creation, AI assisted activities.

They need to be able to work in SharePoint and potentially other vendor software systems. Although they will not be working in SAS, SQL, or Teradata, advertising for someone who knows how to work with big databases like that will give us the level of analyst we are looking for.

We DO NOT need advanced programmers with a large list of programming languages – just a moderate level analyst to help us turn a large amount of data into usable reports and work platforms.

BASIC FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for creating reports, insights, and analytics in support of the division; developing specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs; providing consultation to users and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address divisional issues; producing datasets and reports using system reporting tools; conducting research and analyzing data related to strategic initiatives and broader business needs; partnering with business and data teams to develop tools that support actionable analysis and reporting; building strong customer relationships; and continuously developing a deeper understanding of divisional data to meet evolving business needs.

The role also involves analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insights to decision-makers, as well as identifying and interpreting trends and patterns within datasets to uncover key business drivers and opportunities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of experience in data analysis and information reporting, or 6 years of equivalent experience in data analysis and information reporting.

Experience utilizing tools such as Excel, Access, and Power BI; ability to create bots and leverage AI technologies to automate manual processes. Knowledge of Assure and Data360 is a plus.

Ability to work with large databases.

Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences in both written and verbal formats.

Demonstrated initiative in solving complex problems and identifying innovative solutions through an outside-in perspective.

Ability to lead functional teams, projects, or decision-making efforts supporting business reporting and insights needs.

Experience working with both internal and external data sources.

Ability to verify report accuracy and provide actionable insights.

Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
