Job Summary

The incumbent will learn the Analytics system and manage the preparation of new/changed functionalities for each release. They will understand and contribute to the design of the Analytics system, manage, mentor, and lead the Analytics team, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful releases.

Job Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Determine and prioritize release functionalities and ensure timely completion.
  2. Coordinate with developers and testers to ensure work completion.
  3. Resolve issues during development and testing, including complex queries.
  4. Hold regular team meetings for status updates.
  5. Understand fraud, waste, and abuse in claims data; work with research to create system requirements and queries.
  6. Manage multiple projects, develop work plans, and report progress.
  7. Assess and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans.
  8. Maintain relationships with departments, stakeholders, and external vendors.
  9. Manage release support staff and ensure compliance with HIPAA.
  10. Demonstrate core competencies and values.
  11. This role involves exposure to PHI data and is considered high risk.
Job Scope

The role requires independent work, leadership, and decision-making in Analytics systems analysis, design, development, and testing. It involves working with internal teams and external vendors, leading and mentoring staff, and managing HR actions. This is a senior management role with significant responsibilities.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of project management experience, including 3 years in management related to software development.
  • Experience with software development methodologies and project life cycle.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry workflows is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project methodologies like Waterfall, Agile, SDLC.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new processes and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and development tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range is $150K to $160K, based on experience and location. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, bonus, and more, with a supportive work environment and professional development opportunities.
