Job summary

Good co India is seeking a senior analytics leader to drive data-driven decision making across the business. You will lead analytics initiatives, mentor teams, and deliver dashboards, KPIs, and forecasting models to inform strategic planning.

The role requires deep expertise in SQL, Python, and BI tools, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills to influence senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Degree requirements: Bachelors or Masters in CS/Stats/Math/Economics/Engineering/Analytics or related field.
• 5–10 years of data analytics, BI, reporting, or related analytics leadership.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Excel, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL, data pipelines, and BI frameworks.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor analytics teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality insights and reports.
• Develop dashboards, reports, KPIs, and performance measurement frameworks using BI tools.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, business opportunities, risks, and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Oversee data collection, validation, transformation, modeling, and reporting processes.
• Drive predictive analytics, forecasting, and statistical modeling to support business planning.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, governance, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Monitor project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables while continuously improving analytics processes.
• Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and business leaders.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related analytical function, including team management or project leadership experience.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Advanced Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience in statistical analysis, data modeling, forecasting, predictive analytics, and KPI development.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, data pipelines, and business intelligence frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights and strategic recommendations.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple analytics projects, prioritizing business requirements, and delivering results within deadlines.
• Familiarity with cloud analytics platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
• MBA, Master’s in Analytics, or relevant certifications in Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL, or cloud technologies are preferred.
