Job summary

CarMax is offering a Business Analyst Internship Program in Atlanta, GA. The 10-week summer experience places interns in a collaborative environment with mentor guidance, real-world projects, and exposure to analytics, strategy, and communication.

Selected interns will develop technical and soft skills through training, leadership interactions, and team-building activities, while contributing to impactful business challenges in CarMax Auto Finance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a rising senior in a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree program, in an analytical/quantitative major preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and database systems and/or software packages a plus (ex. SQL, Snowflake, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, Microsoft Suite)
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Relevant project work or past internship experience

Responsibilities

• Analyze and work with CarMax’s data to solve business challenges and create insights.
• Collaborate with teams to share analytic findings and influence business decisions.
• Learn through formal training and mentorship, strengthening both technical and soft skills.
• Contribute to a community of analysts and build professional relationships.
