Job summary

Regions Financial Corporation’s Analytics Intern program offers college students hands-on experience in Data & Analytics, Digital Banking, and the Financial Crimes Unit at our Birmingham, AL campus. You will learn through exposure to research, administration, and project work while developing technical skills and professional networks.

This internship requires a 11-week, 40-hour schedule onsite, with meaningful tasks and mentorship as you build career-ready capabilities in the financial services

Qualifications

• A college student pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Analytics, MIS, Engineering, Math, Data Science or related fields.
• Final graduation between December 2027 and May 2029.
• Able to work 40 hours a week for 11 weeks onsite in Birmingham, AL.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, or SAS; experience with Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to basic functions of assigned group within the financial industry.
• Assist in projects and attend meetings.
• Develop technical and analytical skills in Data Engineering/Management/Data Science.
• Work in Data & Analytics, Digital Banking, or Financial Crimes Unit areas.
• Apply analytical problem-solving skills and quickly learn new technologies.
