Job summary

Trade Republic, based in Paris, is seeking a senior data engineer to join a product delivery team and scale data products. You will ingest, model, and publish data to support business decisions while ensuring interoperability via a self-service analytics platform.

The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration with product and business stakeholders, and applying best practices in data architecture using Snowflake, Airflow, and dbt.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience with an analytical mindset.
• Solid understanding of architectures, design principles and engineering best practices.
• Experience across all stages of the data pipeline: ingestion, transformations, mart creation.
• Experience with our tech stack is a bonus: S3/Snowflake/Airflow/Python/DBT.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with product and business stakeholders to define and build meaningful product metrics
• Developing analytical products such as data models, dashboards, reports and tooling to enable self-serve reporting and analysis for stakeholders.
• Improving our architecture (snowflake and dbt) based on what brings the most impact to cost reduction and speed, applying software engineering best practices
• Taking ownership of projects from scoping to delivery and adoption, working autonomously

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
