Job summary

Premise Health is seeking an Analytics Engineering Analyst to transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets in a hybrid full-time role in Brentwood, TN. You will own scoped modeling tasks, write SQL and dbt models, and contribute to BI modeling and data quality within the medallion architecture.

You'll collaborate with senior teammates to map metrics to business questions, maintain lineage, and produce clear READMEs and documentation while following best practices in version control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 0-2 years analytics, BI, or data modeling experience.
• Coursework or experience in data modeling and statistics.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows preferred.
• Healthcare data experience preferred.

The Analytics Engineering Analyst will support the transformation of raw data into analytics-ready datasets. This role owns well-scoped tasks, follows established standards, and contributes to model documentation and data quality within the silver layer of the medallion architecture.

This is a Full Time, hybrid, Analytics Engineering Analyst role located in Brentwood, TN.

What You'll Do

• Data Modeling & Development
• Own well-scoped modeling tasks following team standards
• Write SQL and basic dbt models and tests
• Contribute to BI modeling and semantic layer development
• Follow best programming practices, writing clean and documented code
• Documentation & Quality
• Create model READMEs and documentation with clear caveats
• Support data quality checks and validation
• Maintain lineage and catalog entries as directed
• Collaboration
• Work with senior team members to understand requirements and map metrics to business questions
• Receive and respond to feedback in a professional manner
• Use basic features of version control software (Git)

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field
• 0-2 years of experience in analytics, BI, or data modeling
• Coursework or experience in data modeling and statistics
• Experience with Git and version control workflows preferred
• Healthcare data experience preferred
• Proficiency in SQL and basic familiarity with dbt
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake)
• Familiarity with BI modeling fundamentals
