Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC seeks an Analytics Engineer for The Woodlands, TX. The role focuses on building analytics-ready datasets using DBT and Snowflake, designing star-schema models, and collaborating with data, BI, and product teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate will own data architecture decisions, optimize SQL workloads, and contribute to engineering best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DBT development and testing experience.
• Strong Snowflake experience and SQL optimization.
• Proven ability to design star-schema dimensional models.
• GitHub version control and collaborative development experience.
• Deep understanding of fact and dimension modeling and analytics DW concepts.
• Ability to translate requirements to scalable analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain star-schema data models (fact & dimensions).
• Build and support DBT models and testing frameworks for analytics datasets.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot Snowflake SQL workloads.
• Apply dimensional modeling best practices for analytics enablement.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI, and business stakeholders to translate requirements.
• Document modeling decisions and promote consistent standards.
