Job summary

Do it Best is seeking an Analytics Engineer I to develop and maintain curated datasets in the gold layer of our enterprise data platform. You will ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility for downstream analytics and reporting.

The role focuses on building data models in Databricks, applying modeling standards, and supporting semantic layer development while collaborating with engineers and analysts. This position offers growth in a data-driven hardware home improvement company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data, analytics, CS, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in data or analytics roles.
• Experience with SQL and data transformation.
• Exposure to Databricks or similar platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data models in the gold layer using Databricks.
• Apply established data modeling standards and best practices.
• Support development of the semantic layer for analytics use.
• Validate and test data for accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements.
