Method Resourcing Solutions Ltd is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join a fast-moving product-led team on a 6-month contract in London. The role sits between data engineering and analytics, focusing on building reliable data models powered by DBT to support reporting and decision-making across the business.

You will own dbt models end-to-end, improve data quality and performance, and collaborate with BI and engineering teams both onshore and offshore.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with DBT and data modelling concepts.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms (BigQuery/Snowflake) and BI tools.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and performance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve data pipeline issues end-to-end.
• Build new data marts to support BI reporting.

We're working with a fast-moving, product-led business looking for an Analytics Engineer to support their data team on an initial 6-month contract.

This is a hands-on role sitting between data engineering and analytics - building clean, reliable data models that power reporting and decision-making across the business with a strong emphasis on DBT.

You’ll be working closely with BI and engineering teams both onshore and offshore, owning dbt models end-to-end and helping improve data quality, performance, and overall usability.

What You'll Be Doing

• Owning and resolving pipeline failures
• Building new data marts for the BI team
• Improving our existing data layer's performance for BI analysis
• Migrating existing business semantic logic from Tableau into our dbt project to improve performance and architecture.

What They're Looking For

• Strong hands on DBT experience - Testing strategy, packages, best practices and how to structure a project well
• Experience working with BigQuery or Snowflake
• Solid understanding of data modelling / warehousing concepts
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Tableau knowledge - Performance and making it a better self serve tool
