Job summary

Aperia is seeking an Analytics Engineer to design the data foundation and analytics apps that empower decision makers across payments and compliance. You will own data pipelines end-to-end, build scalable analytics on a fast-moving team, and collaborate with business stakeholders to translate needs into reliable datasets.

Responsibilities include modeling, transforming data in Snowflake, and creating dashboards while ensuring data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, or related field.
• 4+ years designing data models and pipelines and handling ad hoc analytics requests.
• Advanced SQL and Python.
• Strong Snowflake experience (ingestion, transformations, governance basics).

Responsibilities

• Designs the merchant data foundation and models and owns end-to-end analytics on a small, high-impact team.
• Builds analytics pipelines with testing and monitoring built in.
• Turn business needs into reliable data pipelines and consumable datasets.
• Applies dimensional/semantic modeling and optimizes data for downstream users.
• Supports senior stakeholders with ad hoc analytics requests.
• Integrates source systems into Snowflake and troubleshoots data quality issues.
