Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States (Alabama) is seeking a seasoned data professional to build and maintain data models for business reporting and analytics. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Retail Execution, and Finance teams to translate complex questions into scalable data solutions and dashboards.

You will automate processes, ingest external data into Snowflake, and address gaps from system upgrades. Experience with DBT and cloud warehouses is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a data analyst, data engineer, or BI developer role.
• 5+ years writing SQL
• Experience with Python is a plus
• 2+ years working with cloud data warehouses, including Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
• 2+ years working in DBT
• SAP experience is a plus
• Experience building reports and dashboards for business stakeholders
• Comfortable translating business questions into data solutions
• Experience in CPG or Food & Beverage is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field preferred
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data models supporting business reporting and analytics
• Partner with Supply Chain, Retail Execution, Commercial Finance, and other stakeholders to understand workflows and improve them with data tools
• Automate manual processes and improve data delivery across the organization
• Create custom pipelines to ingest external data into the Snowflake data warehouse
• Address reporting gaps resulting from system upgrades and implementations
• Clean up and standardize the DBT instance
