Ro in New York is seeking an Analytics Engineer to unlock Conversational Analytics at scale. You will begin by diving into day-to-day analyst work with stakeholders, then build tooling that enables self-service via Conversational Analytics.

The role centers on building data models, semantic models, and AI evaluations to improve LLM accuracy, and on training non-data stakeholders to interact with the data stack. Collaboration spans growth, product, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full-time experience in quantitative analysis roles, with data modeling in DBT.
• Hands-on experience using LLMs for coding and analytics, building data products through LLM workflows.
• Expert-level SQL skills.
• Experience using BI tools (Hex and Looker) to convey information.

Responsibilities

• Embed with a stakeholder team for 2–3 months to dive into day-to-day analyst work and build relationships.
• Build foundational data models, semantic models, documentation, and context powering conversational analytics across data domains.
• Develop standardized semantic models to shape how the company thinks about business.
