Thatch is redefining health benefits by enabling employees to control how they use their benefits. We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to own data models, metrics, and dashboards used by leadership, growth, finance, and operations.

You will define how we measure the business from source data to end reports, with emphasis on reliability and simplicity for teams relying on it. You’ll build dbt models, design dashboards, ensure data quality, and enable self-serve analytics to accelerate decision

Qualifications

• Experience building analytical models and dashboards in production.
• Strong SQL and dbt or similar tools; Python for ad-hoc analysis.
• Strong intuition for metric design: grain, aggregation, edge cases.
• Ability to translate business problems into metrics, models, and tools.

Responsibilities

• Own meaningful metrics and data products from definition to adoption.
• Build and maintain dbt models that define how we measure the business.
• Design and maintain dashboards for growth, finance, and operations.
• Improve data quality through testing, monitoring, and validation.
• Enable self-serve analytics so teams can answer their own questions.
