We’re on a mission to create an inclusive, data-informed environment where creators thrive and users feel safe and inspired.

We're looking for an Analytics Engineer to help us design and maintain scalable data models and pipelines that power critical business intelligence and empower self-service analytics across the company. You’ll collaborate closely with data analysts, engineers, and product teams to create clean, well-documented datasets that unlock insights and accelerate decision-making. Your work will have a real impact across the organization, from day-to-day reporting to strategic planning.

What you’ll do:

  • Data Modeling / Transformation
    • Create clean, scalable, and documented data models, often using tools like dbt (data build tool).
    • Define business logic in the warehouse to support analysis (e.g., metrics, dimensions, aggregations).
    • Write SQL-based transformations to turn raw data into analytics-ready formats.
    • Follow best practices in modular code, version control, and test-driven development
  • Pipeline Development
    • Collaborate with data engineers to build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows.
    • Ensure pipelines are reliable, monitored, and cost-efficient.
  • Collaboration / Empowerment
    • Work closely with data analysts, product managers, engineering, and other cross functional partners to understand needs and deliver usable data assets.
    • Champion data quality, consistency, and literacy across teams
  • Documentation & Governance
    • Maintain clear documentation for datasets, definitions, and assumptions
    • Promote best practices in data access, usage, and stewardship

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5–7+ years writing performant, maintainable SQL and developing scalable data models
  • Proficiency with dbt, SQLMesh, and modern cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience with ingestion tools like Fivetran, Airbyte, or Meltano
  • Strong understanding of version control, code reviews, and testing best practices
  • Ability to communicate complex data concepts clearly across technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Omni, Tableau, or Hex
  • A documentation mindset that supports knowledge sharing and transparency

Bonus Points:

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Python
  • Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, Prefect
  • Familiarity with CI / CD workflows
  • Hands on experience with Data Observability tools like Monte Carlo, Metaplane, or Elementary Data

What You’ll Get:

  • Fair and competitive base salary
  • Fully Remote Optional
  • We share success—our bonus program scales with company performance, offering up to 20-30% in achievable bonuses, with potential for 90%!
  • Health, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance for you and any dependents, with policy premiums covered by the Company
  • Long & Short term disability insurance
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Annual Year-End Company Closure
  • Optional 401k with 5% matching
  • 12 Paid Holidays
  • Paid Lunches in-office, or if Remote, a $125/week stipend via Sharebite
  • Employee Assistance and Employee Recognition Programs
  • And much more!
