Job Description

As an Analytics & Control Support Engineer, you will work with our Support Application Engineers in supporting our customers' software and applications that cover a wide spectrum of Advanced Analytics. The scope of applications ranges from diagnostic and predictive to closed‑loop control.

The work is demanding and provides unparalleled exposure to unique opportunities. You will report to our Advanced Analytics Senior Support Manager and will be based anywhere in EMEA region with remote schedule.

Your Responsibilities - you will do:
  • Provide product, engineering, and application support to service existing clients including periodic system and application health checks, performance analyses, and develop reports to document findings, and follow‑up on recommendations to sustain and maximize the value of our applications.
  • Support market development activities and participate in sales closure activities as requested by team.
  • Support the project staffing process to maximize overall support department margin.
  • Customer‑focused to understand and respond to customers' needs.
  • Work and collaborate with clients, peers, and management to help develop solutions and ensure partners agreement.
  • Experience working in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment with a deep commitment to client service.
  • Deliver our environmental Predictive Emission Monitoring system.
  • Perform technical project activities (design, system integration and installation, data analysis and modelling, application development, site installation, commissioning) as assigned.
  • Identification of technical issues that impact project performance (scope creep, delays, requested change orders).
  • Help document best practices for the use in the development applications.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelors or equivalent degree in chemical engineering or other engineering with heavy modelling, statistics, or process control focus.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, typically 1- or 2‑week trips.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a process or control engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Interest in automation, process control and advanced model‑predictive applications.
  • Experience in the process industries (Chemical, Refining).
  • Exposure to instrumentation, industrial control systems, and supervisory control applications.
  • Exposure to advanced process control implementation or business case development.
  • Familiarity with DCS (SCADA, HMI, etc.) and/or PLC configuration.
  • Experience with model predictive control products.
  • Experience with emissions monitoring systems.
  • Experience in Environmental Monitoring Regulations (PS‑16, Part75).
