Job summary

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) seeks a Scientist, Analytical Sciences & Technology for a 12+ month contract in East Syracuse, NY. The role supports analytical method lifecycle activities, including development, qualification, validation, and transfer for biologics and other modalities, with non-GMP testing.

Responsibilities include writing SOPs, performing study testing, data verification, supporting regulatory submissions, inspections, and maintaining instruments.

Qualifications

• BSc/BE or MSc/ME in biology, chemistry, biotechnology or related field with 0–5 years in biologic/protein analytics.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with good organization and time management.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver within timelines; problem-solving with risk-based thinking.

Responsibilities

• Develop, author and peer review SOPs, analytical methods, protocols and reports.
• Test study samples to support upstream/downstream process development and characterization.
• Document results and verify data; perform trend analysis.
• Provide technical guidance to investigations and resolve analytical issues.
• Identify new analytical technologies and opportunities for advancement.
• Support regulatory submissions related to methods, specifications and stability.
• Assist in inspections and audits and address findings.
• Carry out routine lab tasks: sample management, instrument maintenance, inventory, housekeeping.
