Job summary

NOW Health Group INC. is seeking a capable analytical scientist to support cGMP lab work, develop and validate testing methods, and transfer methods to QC teams. The role involves writing SOPs, Investigations, and applying official methods, with training responsibilities for QC staff.

Strong instrument and data-handling skills are essential. The candidate should have a BS in a laboratory science and at least three years of industry lab experience, including method development.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a laboratory science field (chemistry/biology/biochemistry/nutrition).
• Minimum of three years lab experience, incl. one year method development.
• Hands-on instrumental analysis experience (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, UV-Vis, etc.).
• Strong computer skills using Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations and safety procedures.
• Experience with Oracle, LIMS or Epicor desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop scientifically valid testing methods for raw materials and products.
• Write SOPs, investigations, and methods compliant with cGMPs.
• Perform lab work and referential searches to support analyses.
• Provide training to QC analytical staff and mentor team.
• Transfer methods to QC on-site and at satellites.
• Apply AOAC, USP and other official methods to materials and products.
• Troubleshoot issues in method development and QC testing.
• Develop procedures for isolating active components as reference standards.
• Gather information from literature and conferences for method improvement.
• Suggest efficiency improvements and safe practices.
