Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a candidate in Chesterfield, MO to advance analytical methods for biotherapeutics and vaccines. You will work in a fast-paced R&D setting to develop, transfer, verify, and qualify analytical assays supporting product quality and impurity analysis.

Qualifications

MINIMUM: BS in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related field.
Experience using common AI tools, including generative technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to support problem solving and enhance productivity.
Demonstrated curiosity for exploring how these tools can improve outcomes and understanding of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.

Responsibilities

Develop, troubleshoot, and utilize analytical methodologies to support process development of biotherapeutics, vaccines and oligonucleotides.
Proficiency in colorimetric, HPLC, and electrophoresis assays; record, archive and report all data.
Collaborate effectively with peers and leaders in a multidisciplinary team within fast-paced environment.
Document analytical results in technical reports.
