Job summary

Real Staffing Group in the United States is seeking an Analytical Scientist to provide analytical support for upstream and downstream manufacturing labs, performing in-process sample testing in a non-GMP environment and reporting data accurately.

You will execute and troubleshoot ELISA, qPCR, potency assays, and support assay transfers, development, and implementation of new methods, using HPLC/UPLC and capillary electrophoresis for biologics characterization.

Qualifications

• Provide analytical support for upstream and downstream manufacturing labs by performing in-process sample testing in a non-GMP environment, ensuring accurate data reporting.
• Execute and troubleshoot analytical assays including ELISA, qPCR, potency assays, and support assay transfers, development, and implementation of new analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electronic lab notebooks, document results, prepare technical reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and analytical teams on method transfer, qualification, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Preferred background includes experience with monoclonal antibodies, protein therapeutics, and mammalian-cell bioprocessing.

Analytical Scientist - Job Summary

• Provide analytical support for upstream and downstream manufacturing science labs by performing in-process sample testing in a non-GMP environment and ensuring accurate data reporting.
• Execute and troubleshoot analytical assays including ELISA, qPCR, potency assays, and support assay transfers, development, and implementation of new analytical methods.
• Utilize HPLC/UPLC and capillary electrophoresis techniques for biologics characterization, with preferred experience in methods such as SEC, RP, CE-SDS, iCIEF, and titer assays.
• Maintain electronic lab notebooks, document results, prepare technical reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and analytical teams on method transfer, qualification, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Preferred background includes experience with monoclonal antibodies, protein therapeutics, and mammalian-cell bioprocessing.

Key Requirements

• BS in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or MS with 1+ year of experience.
• Hands-on experience with ELISA, qPCR, potency assays, HPLC/UPLC, and capillary electrophoresis.
• Strong documentation, data analysis, and scientific communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Lexington, MA five days per week on a one-year contract.
