Job summary

WorkLlama, Inc. seeks a motivated Contractor for our analytical laboratory team to support testing activities for biologics development and commercialization programs.

You will work with scientists and technicians to advance innovative biologics and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge analytical platforms. You will contribute to accurate documentation, data processing, and technical reporting while maintaining compliance and a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a chemical/biological science is required.
  • 1–2 years of lab experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with HPLC, SDS-PAGE, CE, qPCR, ELISA, or LC-MS is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support analytical testing activities for late-stage development and commercial biologics programs.
  • Perform routine hands-on protein and monoclonal antibody analysis using HPLC platforms.
  • Execute purity, identity, and characterization assays using SDS-PAGE and CE.
  • Conduct molecular and binding assays including qPCR and ELISA.
  • Assist with sample preparation and analytical testing using LC-MS instruments.
  • Document experimental details, raw data, and results in compliance with laboratory guidelines.
  • Perform data analysis and assist in drafting technical reports and summaries.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and standards to ensure a compliant workspace.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and milestones.

Job description

We are seeking a motivated Contractor to join our fast-paced analytical laboratory team, supporting critical testing activities for biologics development and commercialization programs. In this role, you will contribute directly to the advancement of innovative biological products while collaborating with a high-performing team of scientists and technicians. This position provides an excellent opportunity to expand your technical capabilities, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge analytical platforms, and play a key role in bringing life-changing therapeutics to market.

Responsibilities
  • Support analytical testing activities for late-stage development and commercial biologics programs.
  • Perform routine hands-on protein and monoclonal antibody (mAb) analysis utilizing HPLC platforms.
  • Execute purity, identity, and characterization assays using SDS-PAGE and Capillary Electrophoresis (CE).
  • Conduct molecular and binding assays including qPCR and ELISA techniques.
  • Assist with sample preparation and analytical testing using LC-MS instruments.
  • Document experimental details, raw data, and results accurately in compliance with laboratory guidelines.
  • Perform data analysis and assist in drafting technical reports and summary documentation.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and standards to ensure a compliant and efficient workspace.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and departmental milestones.
Education
  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
Experience
  • 1–2 years of academic and/or industry laboratory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in at least two of the following analytical techniques: HPLC (protein/mAb), SDS-PAGE, CE, qPCR, ELISA, or LC-MS.
  • Proven experience with scientific documentation, data processing, and technical reporting desirable.
