Mars is seeking an R&D Associate Scientist - Analytical Sciences to generate analytical insights across the Snacking portfolio. You will test ingredients, materials, processes, and finished products while partnering with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Material Science or related science; 2+ years in a lab.
• Experience performing analytical method protocols compliant with quality standards and HSE.
• Attention to detail, familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices and standards.
• Project management and experimental design skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs analyses with minimal supervision after training; delivers accurate data and interprets results.
• Supports or leads projects in method development, troubleshooting, and data science initiatives.
• Contributes to capability development by exploring new technologies and training others.
• Complies with Quality Management Systems (QMS), HSE and Good Lab Practices, and supports audits.
