Job summary

Tris Pharma, Inc. is seeking an Analytical Research and Development (ARD) Scientist to perform laboratory analyses of raw materials, IP, FP and ST samples under supervision.

The role closely collaborates with Senior ARD Scientists and Supervisors to advance analytical knowledge and support product development. The incumbent will operate instruments (HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, TLC, titration, dissolution) and contribute to method development, validation, and cGDP-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Chemistry or related field with 3+ years in analytical/method development or 0-3 years with a Masters in pharma/biotech.
• PhD in Chemistry with 0-1 years in analytical/method development or related field.
• Experience in analytical method development and validation is required for ARD Scientist I/II roles.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate analytical instruments to support sample testing (HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, TLC, titration, dissolution).
• Develop and troubleshoot analytical methods for IP, FP, and ST samples; guide analyses.
• Design physical characterization studies (rheology, microscopy, surface area, thermal) to support product understanding.
• Perform trend analysis and investigate OOS/OOT results; document results in notebooks.
• Prepare method development reports and technical packages for internal/external use.
