Job summary

Chemtrade is seeking an Analytical Quality Operations Supervisor in Beaumont, TX to lead daily lab operations, supervise staff, and ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. You will manage analytical testing, SOPs, and calibration programs while coordinating with internal teams and external labs.

The role requires 3–5 years in chemicals manufacturing, strong leadership, and proficiency with calibration and analytical methods.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in chemicals manufacturing or a related environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
Hands-on calibration, troubleshooting instrument issues, and analytical methods.
Strong attention to detail, adaptability, self-starter attitude, and effective communication.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Exposure to ISO 9001, RC 14001, or similar management systems.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily operations for the Main Laboratory and Control Room Laboratory.
Lead analytical testing for raw materials, in-process streams, and finished goods.
Write, revise, and maintain laboratory SOPs; train Analysts and provide certifications.
Verify compliance with procedures; coordinate outside testing and interpret results.
Investigate OOS results and document findings.
Maintain instruments, plan maintenance, and procure new equipment when needed.
Manage laboratory inventories and issue COAs for shipments.
Collaborate with customers on quality topics and SBS lotting.
