Job summary

MilliporeSigma seeks a Quality Control Expert to support release testing of products at the Round Rock site. The role requires hands-on chromatography (HPLC/GC), method development, and data review to ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality systems.

The position is a 12-month contract with potential for transition to permanent, onsite in Round Rock, TX, with eventual shift considerations. Requires BS/MS in chemistry and at least 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

BS or MS in chemistry or related life science field.
2 years of related work experience in a related field.
Experience with chromatography (HPLC/GC) and analytical methods.
Excellent written communication and technical writing skills; ability to write procedures and reports.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 17025, and ISO 17034 requirements.
Experience in GLP, GMP, and/or ISO environments is a plus.
Understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Undertake projects, stability studies, and write reports and batch records in the QC Laboratory.
Run analytical methods and stability assessments using HPLC/GC; evaluate formulations and support validations.
Follow regulatory, customer, and quality system requirements in product development.
Document methods and results; prepare test specifications and batch records for transfer to QC.
Collaborate with Scientists and Technicians to complete testing on products.
Participate in training and transfer of validated methods and tech transfer activities.
Develop technical expertise in assigned areas and assist in investigations and improvements.
