Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Specialist, Analytical Technical Operations to support analytical execution across CMC Development programs. You will coordinate testing schedules, manage stability studies for novel mRNA and LNP candidates, and help translate lab inputs into executable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline.
• 3–6 years in biotech/pharma/CMC development or analytical operations.
• Experience supporting stability studies or analytical testing in regulated environments.
• Experience with LabVantage, Benchling or similar LIMS/ELN.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Site-based role, not eligible for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain analytical testing schedules across inputs from systems, priorities, and capacity.
• Support stability protocols and studies for mRNA and LNP candidates for shelf-life and IND-enabling work.
• Compile, review, trend, and summarize analytical data; prepare data packages and communicate results.
• Coordinate multiple program timelines to ensure milestones and reporting are on schedule.
• Support forecasting activities, testing strategies, sample management, and program planning.
• Develop and implement digital tools, automated workflows, and processes to improve lab efficiency and data quality.
• Assist integration of lab and enterprise digital systems to enhance planning and execution.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation with cross‑functional teams.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and data integrity.
