Matheson Tri-Gas is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Tennessee to execute daily assignments, ensure safety, and support quality analysis. The role includes analyzing products for purity, testing raw materials, maintaining equipment, and documenting results in LTS/CRM systems.

The new hire pay starts at $28.14 per hour with progression to Level 1 $30.19, Level 2 $32.26, and Level 3 $34.34 based on tenure and qualifications, with PPE and safety training mandatory.

Qualifications

• BS Chemistry or related science degree, or 2 years of analytical experience.
• Strong math and computer skills with clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read chromatograms and understand LTS requirements.

Responsabilités

• Execute daily assignments following procedures and safety policies.
• Perform safety equipment inspections and minor maintenance.
• Analyze products for purity and mixture conformance to specifications.
• Test and certify incoming raw materials.
• Maintain equipment, calibrate, troubleshoot, and document results.
• Interfacing with data systems used at Nippon Sanso Matheson.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in all areas.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on analytical equipment.
• Triage issues and perform root-cause analyses as needed.
