Job summary

Nivagen is hiring a Lab Technician in Sacramento, CA to support laboratory operations, run routine tests, prepare samples, and maintain equipment per GLP and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with chemists and scientists to ensure accurate testing of pharmaceutical products and maintain thorough documentation, including SOPs and COAs. Candidates should have a chemistry-related degree and hands-on lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Experience with standard laboratory equipment such as pipettes and balances.
• Experience with HPLC is highly desired.
• Familiarity with cGMP/cGLP and safety documentation (SDS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze assigned samples using various instruments, primarily HPLC.
• Maintain laboratory logbooks and usage/consumption logs.
• Clean and maintain all laboratory areas.
• Adhere to cGLP and cGMP standards.
• Operate laboratory instruments per SOPs.
• Prepare and review SOPs and COAs.
