Job summary

Heraeus is seeking an Analytical Lab Technician to perform analytical testing, sample preparation, and reporting to support production, quality assurance, and business operations. This role requires ensuring accurate results while upholding safety and quality standards on a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in an analytical lab or industrial setting, with experience in XRF, combustion analysis, LIMS/SAP, and a solid grasp of ISO quality systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of analytical laboratory or industrial experience preferred.
• Experience with XRF, combustion analysis, and similar instruments.
• Familiarity with LIMS or SAP preferred.
• Strong understanding of ISO quality standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing, sample preparation, and analysis.
• Prepare samples and run tests according to standard procedures.
• Document results and report findings in a timely, accurate manner.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
• Support overall laboratory efficiency and data integrity.

The Analytical Lab Technician is responsible for performing analytical testing activities, including sample preparation, analysis, and reporting, to support production, quality assurance, and business operations. This role ensures accurate and timely results while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards and supporting overall laboratory efficiency.

Schedule: Rotating Schedule, Weekends and Holidays

Knowledge, Experience & Certifications / Licenses:

2+ years of analytical laboratory or industrial experience preferred

Experience with:

• Laboratory instrumentation (XRF, combustion analysis, etc.)
• Sample preparation and testing methods
• Data systems (LIMS, SAP preferred)
• Strong understanding of:
• Quality systems (ISO standards)
• Laboratory safety and chemical handling

Ability to interpret:

• Technical procedures
• Testing methods and documentation
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
