Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC seeks a hands-on QC Laboratory Leader to oversee a 24/7 specialty chemical operation in Mount Pleasant, SC. You will manage a team, drive analytical testing, and ensure data integrity while aligning with production goals.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, prioritizing workflows, interpreting results from HPLC, GC, GC-MS, FT-IR, and other instruments, and ensuring ISO/QMS compliance and CAPA processes.

Qualifications

5+ years in analytical/quality control lab in chemical/pharma/food settings.
3+ years of laboratory leadership and continuous improvement experience.
Hands-on with analytical instrumentation and testing methods.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, QMS, and regulatory compliance.
Experience with LIMS or ERP systems such as JD Edwards/Oracle.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QC laboratory staff.
Support 24/7 production by prioritizing workflow and resources.
Perform and interpret analytical testing using listed instruments.
Oversee organic analytical and wet chemistry testing for materials and products.
Review data, authorize release, and maintain data integrity in ERP/LIMS.
