Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Analytical Epidemiologist in Atlanta, GA to turn complex public health data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with clients to clarify questions, then dig into data-rich environments to produce objective answers and inform decisions.

The role requires experience in data visualization, statistics, and reporting, with emphasis on Power BI, R/SAS/Python/SQL, and public health knowledge. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Atlanta.

Qualifications

You Have:

  • Experience developing data queries, data visualizations, anddashboards usingPower BI
  • Experience performing data manipulation, cleaning, analysis, or visualization in R, SAS, Python, or SQL
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques, basic descriptive statistics, andmultivariate analysis met hodssuch as Ordinary Least Squares ( OLS ) or logistic regression
  • Knowledge of public health, healthcare, or health technology
  • Ability to write communication through the development of standard operation procedures ( SOPs ) , analytic reports, or manuscriptssubmittedfor publication
  • Ability to conduct analysis, interpretation, and communication of complex large datasets independently, clearly, and concisely
  • Ability to obtain andmaintaina Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience using Geospatial Information System ( GIS ) sof tware packagessuch as ESRI ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, or QGIS, and making geospatial data visualizations
  • Experience incorporating CI / CD,DevSecOps, andMLOpsbest practices into the development process
  • Experience working in cloud-based environments using AWS and Azure, and data warehousing solutions, including Databricks
  • Experience withInformation Technology ( IT ) and sof tware development project management sof tware such as Azure DevOps and Jira
  • Experience developing other dashboard toolssuch as Tableau, R Shiny, orQlik
  • Experience with data storytelling and user- center ed design
  • Experience working with federal healthagencies
  • Experience working with state and local government clients
