Job summary

Ardena Somerset (US) is seeking an Analytical Development Scientist to provide analytical support for development projects, perform method development, validation, and routine analysis of APIs and finished products in a GMP-regulated environment.

The role requires a BS/MS in Chemistry/ Biochemistry with 4+ years (MS) or 6–8 years (BS) of pharma experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and proficiency in document preparation and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related discipline.
• BS: 6–8 years of pharma industry experience; MS: 4+ years of pharma industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and validate analytical methods (HPLC, GC, Dissolution, UV-Vis, FTIR, KF, Microscopy, PSD).
• Perform routine API and finished product analysis with appropriate instrumentation.
• Support formulation transfer activities and investigations of method performance and reliability.
• Prepare technical documents including validation protocols/reports and test procedures.
• Collaborate with QA, Regulatory Affairs, Project Management, and Production teams.
