Job summary

Veranova is seeking an Analytical Scientist II to lead development and implementation of analytical procedures for APIs, including potent compounds and peptides. You will apply HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, NMR, UV-Vis, and other techniques to support development and GMP manufacturing.

Responsibilities include method development, validation, transfer, instrument maintenance, and participation in regulatory audits. The role requires advanced degrees and extensive experience in pharmaceutical analytics within

Qualifications

BS in Analytical chemistry or equivalent with 12+ years related experience in analytical development (R&D and method qualification/validation) within pharmaceutical industry.
MS in Analytical chemistry or equivalent with 10+ years related experience in analytical development (R&D and method qualification/validation) within pharmaceutical industry.
PhD in Analytical chemistry or equivalent with 3+ years related experience in analytical development (R&D and method qualification/validation) within pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and execution of phase-appropriate analytical methods compliant with ICH and Health Authority guidelines.
Perform release and stability testing on starting materials, intermediates and API for development and GMP samples.
Author and review method qualification/validation/transfer protocols and reports for analytical procedures.
Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
Contribute to audit readiness and participate in quality audits with FDA and other regulators as needed.
Ensure compliance with GMP, DEA, FDA, and related regulations.
