Job summary

Enlaza Therapeutics is seeking an Analytical Development Scientist at our San Diego site to develop and validate analytical methods for antibodies, ADCs, and other biologics. You will conduct LC-MS-based characterization, including intact and subunit analyses, peptide mapping, and PTM assessment, while applying HPLC/UPLC and other separation techniques.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 4+ years of industry experience in analytical development for protein-based biologics.
• Expertise in analytical separation sciences, biophysical methods, and protein characterization.
• Experience operating modern analytical instruments and fault-finding analytical methods.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and qualify fit-for-purpose analytical methods for biologics (antibodies, ADCs, bispecifics).
• Perform LC-MS-based characterization: intact/reduced mass, peptide mapping, PTMs, heterogeneity.
• Develop chromatographic/electrophoretic methods (SEC, HIC, IEX, icIEF, CE-SDS).
• Apply biophysical techniques (DLS, DSF/DSC, UV-Vis) to assess stability and conformation.
• Analyze complex datasets, troubleshoot, and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
