Job summary

The Associate Scientist - Analytical Development at Tarsus will support development and analysis of experiments for drug substances and products. Under supervision, you will prepare formulations, analyze samples, and document results, while maintaining instruments and following GDP and SOPs.

You will perform HPLC, UV-Vis, pH, osmolality, and related tests, maintain lab records, and contribute to stability studies.

Qualifications

Bachelor in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences required.
Hands-on lab experience with analytical techniques (HPLC, UV-Vis, pH, osmolality, viscosity).
Up to 3 years of hands-on pharma development experience from industry, academia, or internships.
Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain templates for stability reports and data-summary tables.
Enter and review stability data.
Review laboratory notebooks for completeness, accuracy, traceability, and compliance.
Perform balance verification and prepare standards and samples.
Perform UV, osmolality, pH, and other routine analytical testing.
Maintain laboratory glassware and shared laboratory areas.
Prepare, coordinate, document, and receive sample and material shipments.
Prepare and maintain HPLC systems.
Conduct routine assay testing and basic HPLC runs
Assist with stability studies, troubleshooting, and general laboratory operations.
Follow applicable SOPs, safety requirements, good documentation practices, and data-integrity standards.
