Job summary

Eurofins is seeking an Analytical Clinical Chemistry Scientist to set up, execute, and troubleshoot HPLC/UPLC instrumentation. You will prepare protein samples, mobile phases, and cleaning solutions, maintain records, and ensure adherence to quality standards in a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule in New York.

The ideal candidate has a chemistry degree with 2–4 years’ experience (or MS with 0–2 years), hands-on HPLC/UPLC expertise, and familiarity with cGMP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field with 2-4 years of experience OR MS with 0-2 years of experience.
• Experience running and maintaining HPLCs/UPLCs.
• Experience with MCE and iCEIF assays.
• Knowledge of cGMP; strong technical and organizational skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up, execution, and troubleshooting on HPLC and/or UPLC instrumentation.
• Preparation of protein samples, standards, and controls.
• Preparation of organic and salt mobile phases and acidic cleaning solutions.
• Handling and use of micropipettes.
• Gathering, processing, and recording data in an electronic database.
• Thorough documentation of SOPs and resulting test data.
• Review of test results for validity and specification acceptance; report quality anomalies.
• Maintain compliance with quality, integrity, and safety standards.
• Participate in training activities and maintain lab supplies.
• Routine calibration and verification of instruments and equipment; interact with customers or peer groups.
