Job summary

Charles River is hiring a Research Assistant in analytical chemistry to generate and record data with minimal supervision in studies.

You will handle and process samples, perform basic lab tasks, and contribute to data reporting while adhering to GLPs and SOPs. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and timely documentation across projects.

Pay is $23.00–$24.00 per hour, with location in Horsham, PA, and opportunities to impact early drug development.

Qualifications

• Education required: Bachelor's degree in a laboratory science or related field.
• Zero to two years of related lab experience desirable.
• Understanding of GLPs and basic regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic lab procedures and record data in GLP/SOP compliance.
• Input, print and edit laboratory data entries.
• Prepare materials and data for shipment and archiving.
• Receive samples and complete tracking documentation.
• Review QC documentation of performed functions.
• Perform study preparation activities.
• Maintain clean work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
