Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Associate, Materials Process Engineer (Chemistry Lab) to conduct analytical lab tasks, design experiments, and generate reliable data under controlled conditions. The role supports data reduction and reporting, with emphasis on applying analytical chemistry knowledge and instrumentation such as DSC, TGA, HPLC, ICP, GC, UV-VIS, and FTIR.

The candidate should have a chemistry background with up to two years of related experience or four years without a degree,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry with 0–2 years experience or 4 years experience without a degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools: Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to follow ASTM, Military Specifications and Weapons Specifications.
• Ability to obtain US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support analytical laboratory tasks under supervision and follow established procedures.
• Set up and conduct tests per experimental procedures and specifications under controlled conditions.
• Design experiments and generate repeatable results; assist in data reduction and reporting.
