Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in chemistry or related science with 0–2 years in analytical labs (required) or 3 years in sample prep.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field with 1–2 years’ analytical lab experience (preferred).
• Basic math and reasoning skills (required).
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook/Word) (required).
• Experience with GCMS and Organic methods (preferred).
• Experience with LIMS (preferred).
• Ability to lift/carry/push and/or pull up to 25 lbs (required).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples according to SGS's analytical SOPs using department instruments.
• Perform operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with validation and MDL studies.
• Assist with investigations and responses to client inquiries and CARs.
• Input and maintain technical information to support lab operations.
• Maintain Laboratory Notebook and adhere to internal standards and procedures.
