Formación

• Rising juniors and seniors in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics or Chemical Engineering.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Working proficiency in Python with scientific libraries (NumPy, pandas, matplotlib).
• Familiarity with mass spectrometry fundamentals and basic data interpretation.
• Strong written and verbal communication for business-case reporting to leadership.
• Exposure to version control (Git); familiarity with Jupyter notebooks preferred.
• Prior LC-MS or protein/peptide analysis coursework/experience preferred.
• Expected graduation date after August 2027.

Responsabilidades

• Benchmark conversion of Thermo .raw files to mzML or similar formats using open-source tools.
• Inventory current MS software footprint across Analytical Science (time and cost spend).
• Map each vendor software workflow to open-source replacements and assess feasibility.
• Develop a roadmap highlighting near-term migration candidates.
• Deliver a feasibility report and present findings to relevant teams.
