Job summary

LinQ Global Group is seeking a Laboratory Chemist for a 6-month contract in Thompson St TN 37179. The role focuses on chemical analyses to support research and quality testing, with a schedule of Tuesday-Saturday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Pay is $26/hour, with responsibilities including sample preparation, instrumentation, and reporting. The position reports to the Regional Laboratory Manager and requires ISO 17025 familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field with emphasis in analytical chemistry.
• 2+ years of experience with chemical and physical analyses in food or related industries.
• Experience with ISO 17025 and laboratory quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Estimate resources and time required for experiments and monitor performance.
• Collect, prepare, and test samples and record observations.
• Prepare detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on lab equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Deliver accurate results in a timely manner for analytical testing.
• Operate, manage and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
• Maintain documentation of analytical results in ELN and LIMS.
• Follow laboratory quality management systems ISO 17025 and Mars Global Laboratory Quality Management System.
• Support nutritional testing for pre-mix, pre-blends, mixer studies, raw ingredients, and finished product analysis.
