Job summary

Albaugh, LLC in Missouri seeks a Chemist I to support laboratory operations by performing routine analytical testing, preparing samples, and assisting in the development, verification, and documentation of laboratory methods.

This role focuses on ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and accurate data reporting within a manufacturing environment, while upholding GMP/GLP standards and daily lab workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or related scientific field required.
• 1 year verifiable experience in a laboratory using GC or LC instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products following established methods and SOPs.
• Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and standards for laboratory testing.
• Accurately document test results and maintain laboratory records with data integrity.
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments such as pH meters, balances, spectrophotometers, titrators, and chromatographic systems.
• Assist in method development, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment and ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals.
• Communicate results clearly to supervisors, engineers, and production teams.
