Job summary

The Ritedose Corporation in Columbia, SC is seeking an entry-level Analytical Services Chemist I to perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products in the Analytical Services Laboratory.

The role requires a BS in Chemistry, experience with wet chemistry techniques (titration, spectroscopy), and proficiency with data handling. You will support sampling, testing, data review, and contribute to regulatory audits and SOPs.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Experience with standard laboratory techniques, wet chemistry tests, titration, spectroscopy, HPLC, GC and data acquisition systems preferred.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.
• Detail oriented, strong work ethic, and team minded in a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical testing for raw materials, in-process and final products, including stability and complaint samples.
• Conduct method validation and transfer testing, including cleaning and equipment validations.
• Review data and documents as requested and assist in investigations of out-of-spec results.
• Support audits and SOP collaborations; assist in maintaining logs and inventory.
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping and safe working environment; ensure alignment with cGMP guidelines.
