Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry/biochemistry, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status.
• Fundamental principles, practices and techniques of chemistry/biochemistry.

Responsibilities

• Provides fundamental analysis in support of standard testing materials utilizing standard analytical instrumentation per SOPs.
• Reviews, analyzes, interprets and documents testing results.
• Overseeing or reviewing, completing and processing chemistry/biochemistry forms, documents, databases, and related materials.
• Interprets and counsels staff and management on chemistry/biochemistry policies and practices.
• Analyzes processes and presents results and recommendations to management.
• Maintains accuracy of tests, equipment and databases through audits and reviews.
• Assists with cross-functional projects including budgets, timelines and resources.
