Qualifications

• BS in a scientific discipline such as chemistry or microbiology.
• Fundamental knowledge of chromatographic analysis and/or quantitative microbiological analysis.
• Hands-on laboratory skills in academic or industrial settings.
• Ability to adapt existing laboratory techniques and equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Safety-focused with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze a variety of well-defined formulation and conduct characterization tests (sample prep, instrument operation).
• Perform CFU (Colony Forming Unit) assays for various biological formulations and optimize as needed.
• Analyze, plan, and implement test methods under supervision.
• Develop lab automation solutions and collaborate to achieve automation goals.
• Communicate experimental findings effectively in presentations and reports.
• Liaise with stakeholders from biology, application technology, and marketing.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and adhere to safety practices.
