Job summary

Nu Skin in Utah, USA is seeking a Laboratory Technician to assist with routine analytical testing of samples submitted to the lab under direct supervision. You will help with instrument maintenance, calibration, and documentation in a GMP/GLP environment.

The role requires 0–2 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree. You will contribute to safety procedures, proper waste disposal, and timely reporting of results, while supporting other lab staff on projects.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a lab role.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Good documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete analysis of test methods and SOPs and safety procedures.
• Submit, analyze and report results in workflow for completed tests.
• Assist with calibration, maintenance and operation of instruments used in the test methods.
• Complete cleaning assignments, waste disposal, equipment checks, ordering supplies, and chemical inventory; document tasks.
• Document all lab reports in compliance with GMP/GLP policies.
• Complete proficiency and other training requirements and document trainings.
• Support laboratory staff or management with projects and notify team of significant testing issues.

About the Role:

Under direct supervision, assist with routine analytical testing of samples submitted to the lab. Assist with maintenance, cleaning and minor repairs of instruments and laboratory equipment used during testing. Perform other duties as required.

What you'll do:

• Perform complete analysis of test methods and standard operating and safety procedures - 40%
• Submit, analyze and report results to appropriate workflow for completed tests - 15%
• Assist with calibration, maintenance and ensuring proper operation of instruments used in the test methods - 5%
• Complete cleaning assignments, waste disposal, equipment checks, ordering supplies, and chemical inventory, as required, and document completed tasks in the appropriate log books - 15%
• Document all lab reports in compliance with company policy and GMP/GLP regulations - 10%
• Complete proficiency and other training requirements and document all completed trainings - 10%
• Support laboratory staff or management with projects and notify team of significant testing issues - 5%
