Sensient Technologies seeks an Analytical Chemist to join our team, focusing on wet chemistry techniques and instrumentation. You will conduct analytical testing, develop new test methods, and interpret results to support our global color, flavor, and extract systems.

You’ll manage sample analyses with strict lead times, operate ICP, HPLC, GC/MS, and related equipment, and participate in method improvements and corrective actions while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or higher in a technical degree with a strong analytical chemistry background.
• 5 years of experience in a high throughput quality control lab.
• Strong background in analytical instrumentation including GC-MS, LC-MS and ICP.

Sensient is growing! The Natural Color Conversion is here!! We are adding an Analytical Chemist to our team. As an Analytical Chemist you will have a strong customer focus and possess a strong working knowledge of wet chemistry techniques and instrumentation skills. This exciting role is responsible for conducting analytical testing, developing new test methods, and interpreting test results.

What You’ll Do:

• Independently manage the analysis of samples and data ensuring each sample comes off within its allotted lead time.
• Operate and maintain ICP, HPLC, GC/MS and various lab instrumentation using accepted GLP and GMP procedures. Work with service engineers to perform routine maintenance to minimize instrument down time.
• Evaluate new test methods to bring to on site and routinely review current methods and suggest any improvements.
• Participate in Formal Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective Actions.
• Effectively communicate, both verbally and written, lab data and results to other departments.
• Work in interdepartmental teams and with affiliate sites.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s or Higher education in a Technical Degree with a strong Analytical Chemistry background.
• 5-years of experience working in a high throughput quality control lab.
• A strong background in analytical instrumentation and analysis including, but not limited to, GC-MS, LC-MS, and ICP.
• Prior experiencing working in a third-party testing lab strongly preferred.
• Experiencing managing lab projects and working with a small to mid-size teams.
